AFAIK the RHAS kernel has a patch with functionality similar to this
patch. The RHAS version though have a completely different API. I
didn't know about the RHAS patch when I wrote this patch. Had I known
it already existed, I probably wouldn't have written it. Anyway, there
is a minor difference, where I consider my version to be better
designed. If anybody really cares, I could probably easilly add an
RHAS compatible interface to this patch.
